Ramsey Clark’s Remarks Supporting Terrorism

Lest we forget, here is an interview from The Wall Street Journal, Thursday August 3, 1995:
How North Vietnam Won The War
Thursday August 3, 1995
What did the North Vietnamese leadership think of the American antiwar movement? What was the purpose of the Tet Offensive? How could the U.S. have been more successful in fighting the Vietnam War? Bui Tin, a former colonel in the North Vietnamese army, answers these questions in the following excerpts from an interview conducted by Stephen Young, a Minnesota attorney and human-rights activist. Bui Tin, who served on the general staff of North Vietnam’s army, received the unconditional surrender of South Vietnam on April 30, 1975. He later became editor of the People’s Daily, the official newspaper of Vietnam. He now lives in Paris, where he immigrated after becoming disillusioned with the fruits of Vietnamese communism.
Question: How did Hanoi intend to defeat the Americans?
Answer: By fighting a long war which would break their will to help South Vietnam. Ho Chi Minh said, "We don’t need to win military victories, we only need to hit them until they give up and get out."
Q: Was the American antiwar movement important to Hanoi’s victory?
A: It was essential to our strategy. Support of the war from our rear was completely secure while the American rear was vulnerable. Every day our leadership would listen to world news over the radio at 9 a.m. to follow the growth of the American antiwar movement. Visits to Hanoi by people like Jane Fonda, and former Attorney General Ramsey Clark and ministers gave us confidence that we should hold on in the face of battlefield reverses. We were elated when Jane Fonda, wearing a red Vietnamese dress, said at a press conference that she was ashamed of American actions in the war and that she would struggle along with us.
Q: Did the Politburo pay attention to these visits?
A: Keenly.
Q: Why?
A: Those people represented the conscience of America. The conscience of America was part of its war-making capability, and we were turning that power in our favor. America lost because of its democracy; through dissent and protest it lost the ability to mobilize a will to win…
It’s the same old same old.

All of which makes the Democrats pine for the era that much more, and that much more hopeful they can reuse the same tactics with the same results. :-(

I’ve heard Clark’s rhetoric before; it usually precedes a Socialist coup.

Here is to hoping that this weekend with the Gathering of Eagles face-off with the anti-war activists will finally show America (if they can read/hear about it) that America is in 2007 not 1968 and we can’t continue to do this Vietnam era redo just so the Dems/left can ‘feel good’ about their actions.
Ramsey Clark is such a hypocritical liar - I don’t see him living in one of his ‘communist’ paradises - he is still a ‘resident’ of that horrible, evil, vile America - actions speak louder than words.
They are still living in 1968 when they controlled the media and can’t get it through their heads that the InterNet is allowing their past and present words to be broadcast to the World. . .and that those of us with brains can figure out how hypocritical they are and how they are supporting failed ideas, dangerous beliefs and stupid programs. Not to mention terrorists.
Wish someone in America had the backbone to arrest people like this. It would make things easier on the War front.

Deep inside, there is something terribly wrong, something very important missing in Ramsey Clark. A heart and soul, yes, but there is an evil about him that is so pervasive. He never judges the worst that humanity offers….he would rather defend them in court. He’d have defended Hitler if he could.
A self-appointed martyr.
I just don’t understand his hatred for this great country. His citizenship should be revoked.

And a call for impeachment. They have to do this.
First, of course, is their unthinking hatred of George Bush. If Bush gave a press conference to tell us eating dog crap is bad for you, you could find liberals by checking their breath.
Second, though, is that they need to de-stigmatize the process of impeachment. The first part of restoring Biilzebubba’s image was the “it’s all about sex” lie (and I think I can speak for all of us when I say that if cheating on his wife were the only crime Clinton had committed, we would be hiring chubby half-wits to go to DC and keep him occupied so he couldn’t screw up policy….), but the second part is to make impeachment common-place; something that happens to every president instead of the rather tepid reaction to disgusting crimes that it actually was.
This year or next–sometime before the end of his term, the House will try to impeach Bush.

Unfortunatley I missed out in life.
Had I been born a moron, chronic liar - with zero integrity and zero conviction - I could have been a lucrative liberal.
Why God have you, oops I mean, why gooey single cell substance have you evoluted me to this dangerous level that can’t seem to understand the stupidity of others?
Why have you given me the scurge of common sense, rationalization, fairness, and belief that we all have the right and means to flourish, without race baiting, AA and socialized charity?
Why would you evolute me to a level that cannot possible fathom the stupidity and vile words of hypocritical liberals?
Why did you install the ability to cherish Voltaire, Paine, etc?
Why do I respect others rights and opinions regardless of its content?
Why do I encourage others to go for their dreams, regardless of how silly they may seem?
Why do I stick up for underdogs and minorities, even getting arrested after someone told my friend to get his “spic ass out?”
Why do I support my country, people and troops at times of war without become hysterical and lie for money?
Why gooey single celled substance, why?
